BTW there is no such person as Min Shin. The thief may as well be a ghost. He is long gone by now.
I don't think that's the same person, he is still active with no bad feedback in 6 months

I would never use anything but a credit card via paypal for any internet transaction. Sending a check/money is absolutely idiotic. No fraud protection with that. Common sense FTW.

This is just an example. I am referring to the PayPal caution note.

Most likely this is a hijacked account. All the information is false. The thief may be sitting at an internet cafe in Moscow. The check was picked up by a runner. The runner keeps 50 percent, and sends 50 percent to the thief.

I live in Bellevue Wa, its not far from bothel at all. If there is anything REASONABLE i can do i'll try it. But i would def. file something with ebay and see if you can get to cops to help you out. Good luck man.

But $1500 for STOPTECH all 4 wheels? Kinda too good to be true to me. Even used Stoptech i see go for $2500 at least.

But damn thats hard man. I got scammed as well. But you got scammed thru cash check. I got scammed thru PAYPAL. so NOTHING on ebay is real. I learned my lesson and NEVER bought anything over $300 on ebay unless I contact the place, have them send me present pictures if its not a company, or have them give me their name, number, or business address. I know its paranoia but hey i rather be safe then broke.

There's been LOTS of scams on ebay lately. It's mesing with my business. If you see "Please email me immediately if you want to buy it now - because my mailbox is full on ebay" it's a scam. Report them or don't buy/bid at all. I was shopping for an eclipse navi - and there were like 10 of them listed for $22.00. Also, if that deal is too good to be true, than it probably is. $1500 for stoptechs when just the front alone costs over $2k? Good luck..

Hey guys, I live in Woodinville, which is about 2 miles away from Bothell. The street you listed "Bothell Way" has no houses on it as far as I know. Im pretty sure its just businesses. But, I could go check it out this weekend.

im sorry but its gonna be tough finding this guy who scammed you. This incident happen to me before but it was the other way around. A customer from ebay sent me a cashier check, i made a deposit check cleared. After i shipped out the merchandise, 2weeks later my bank calls me and says the cashier check was fraud and i was assed 500 bucks. The Fbi took matters in their own hands since this was a federal fraud, making fake cashier checks from bank of america. The fbi traced the tracks and ended up empty handed, also they wont take it seriously to investigate till the end unless it was serious as to a bank robbery, or a heist that costed mucho dinero.
