I don't know if any of you guys can help me out but here is the story. I bought some stoptech brakes of ebay for 1500.00. Saw pics and everything. It was all 4 wheels. Anyway the guy had perfect feedback and all.....seemed like it was all ligit. I sent him a cashiers check for the brakes.....He said when the check cleared he would send them. I sent check on the 2nd of JAN.So then in the mean time, ebay sends me a e-mail saying that his account has been suspended. so I e-mail him and ask why, and he says someone did buy it now and since he doesn't take paypal they couldn't pay for them so they filed a no recieve item claim on him for 3 items so they suspended his account. not that it means anything, but he has no vehicles registered under that name at that address. he may have them registered out of a different address, or may not have a vehicle.....or it could be a bogus name/address.

that sucks man. i personaly dont buy anything off of ebay unless the seller accepts paypal. that way i know i still have a chance of getting my money back if something goes wrong.

+1 People who do business over Ebay should know that paypal is the number one method of payment. The fact he wanted a check should have raised a flag. Sorry to hear about your situation. Good luck with everything

I called and confirmed the address with the receptionist.

I also checked the same 6830 Ne Bothell Way in the city of bothell washington and it is a pizza place, who I called as well.

I did not call the number you provided, It is a cell phone, and could be a simple pay as you go, meaning we can't get an address for it.

 

Well if you sent the money to that address he must either work there or have access to their business mail box, and that means tampering with mail which is a felony!

my guess is the mail comes before the eye doctor opens, and he grabs it, if I lived within 60 miles I would stake it out and see who came around. maybe someone here is in a postion to help,
