Don't get mad.. just milk it for what it's worth and smile every time you think of how much $$ you saved.

I would worry about, if you bought the car from them, him finding your address and messing with your car. especially if you raise a stink about it.

The dealership is just that a dealer. NNA doesn't have any real authority to check their surveillance. So yes they can log a complaint and try to get resolution but I wouldn't put too much hope in NNA as they ca only do so much.
Hopefully you get a call from the GM of the dealer and they take care of you but trust me even at that point you will probably have to work for your best price.

You make a good point, but i know for a fact they won't call me about what happened yesterday. Like i said this isn't the first time i have had a bad experience at this dealership. So with that said should i call them or just go to another dealership and call it quits. I just have ahard time dealing with the fact that this guy was out of control and in the wrong from the begining and i am the one that has to let it go.

Cheers

If you're serious about buying the car, why not use all this to your advantage?? Talk with the general manager and work out a sweet deal for all the trouble you've been through. If the GM is a jerk too, then definately go to another dealership... just my opinion...

Wow.. time to get a deal out of this! Maybe pay for base model, but get a touring model?! If you sue them, it'd be another story... so try to get something out of this.

Good luck with getting a Z. You almost should have let that douchebag hit you, you would have one hell of a lawsuit. You did good by not jumping on the guy showing you that much aggression.

If that had happened to me, I would have driven off in a much cheaper than advertised 350Z.

I don't think that I would pick up a Z from that dealership. If you have to bring it back for maintenance, he could have a buddy of his screw with your car while it is there.

Well I did speak to the GM and he was no help SO I am driving 40 miles to one dealership tomorrow and probably try to go buy another dealership that's about 30 miles in the other direction. I have spoken to one salesman who assured me he had an 07 on the lot ready for me to see I am going to call the other dealership and see what they have. I also left a message for the salesperson who was helping me (he was a great) I told him I didn't feel right about buying from a dealership that would hire such incompetent people to represent them, I told him I am sorry for his lost sale, cause I was very interested, but I have decided to take my business else where because I am not appreciated as a customer at his dealership. We will see what happens

Cheers

+1, i would've gotten the witness's name and just said "you can thank him for your dealership losing a sale." Then come back a few days later and ask for that punk's name and say "You're going to be hearing from my lawyer soon." I'm pretty sure they don't want a lawsuit especially if you got a witness.

Kevin If I was the dealer I would have kicked your A$$ too. All he is trying to do is sell some old rich guy a Z, so he can put some food on the table to feed his family.

P.S. Im not entirely serious

The old guy started to walk away just after he told us about the 2008 450HP-Z He never even saw the screaming and anticks of the sales person. And just so you know i would have killed this guy, he was about 5'8 and maybe 150 soaking wet, i am by no means a small guy, and if it wasn't for everything else that was going on in my life i would have loved for him to throw the first punch. But i like to think of myself as a Man instead of a little kid who wants to whine, cry, and fight when he is proven wrong. The man thing to do would have been a comment like "well i must have been mistaken" or even better "Sorry i guess i am Wrong" but he had to get in my face and make a big deal over the fact that i caught him in a lie. If you want to feed your family do it with respect for yourself and those you are working for don't scream and lie to customers and try to fight them, that's just plain stupid.

That makes perfect sense. Most folks like that are all noise. Just like Jay Z said...."you know the type...loud as a motorbike, but wouldn't bust a grape in a fruit fight".

I love these types.....always the same ending.
