Ok: I finally got the call that the local dealer had an 07 on the lot. It was a base model (not what I wanted but hey it was a 6 speed). So I go and test-drive it. All goes well Love the car, great pick up sounds good and is everything I had thought it would be.

So everything is hunkey dory, AND THEN I started talking to this old guy who was also looking at the 07. The dealer I was working with went back inside, and as me and the older man were talking, his dealer came up. The dealer was maybe my age (mid 20's) and very cocky. So this dealer starts running his mouth about the 450HP 350-Z that is coming out in 08, so I just laughed and asked where he had heard that. I guess he got the point that I knew better and wasn't buying his BS. So any way He told the older guy that a guy he was with (while on a test drive) smoked the front tires . Ok at this point I started to laugh at him and the older guy did to. I then explained to him that you couldn’t smoke the front tires cause it's rear wheel drive. Then he makes this big deal about it in the parking lot. So I point at him and then at the car tell him to show me.

This is where it gets bad- he gets in my face like he wants to fight cause I pointed at him. I tell him if he can prove it I will say I am sorry so he says he has the guy's # in side, so I call his bluff and tell him to call the guy I wanted to talk to him. So we go inside the and he grabs his phone and walks off. At this point my dealer walks up and says hey man I thought you had left, I then explained to him what the guy said and he started to laugh. Well the skinny little punk comes back and sees the other guy laughing and this is when it gets bad. He stars cursing at me and trying to get at me while the other guy holds him back. The manager comes out and takes the guy off. I explain I am about to spend 30k hear and I don't appreciate being threatened or yelled at. So I explain to the manager what happened and he starts to laugh. The guy sees this and comes rushing out of the manager’s office toward me. I was about to lay this guy out when another sales guy grabbed him.

3rd bad experience at this dealer WTF, any opinions on what I should do??

Go buy the car, lay the guy out, and smoke the rear tires right in front of his tiny cubicle lol..that would be funny!

tell them to knock a few grand off your price before you sue, call corporate, and go to another dealer

 

Go to another dealer. You don't need to put up with BS if you are willing to pay 30K for a new car (or any other reason). Or you could just go back and KO his A$$, then go to a new dealer.

agree but make sure you cover him in rubber and ask him hows the exhaust taste!!!as you pee on him... god I'm glad the guy I got mine from was a car lover and a smart one at that who realized I too knew a thing or two about the car he really hooked me up!!

Yes. Walk up to any sales person and say

I will give you $XX,XXX for this car today.

That ends any BS before it begins, and lets the seller know that you are a buyer not a window shopper.

 

That's got to be one of the funniest things I've ever heard, happening at a dealer. I'm just glad it wasn't me there. I probibly wouldn't have been able to control myself. One thing I don't understand. Why wasn't this scumbag fired on the spot??? His actions were totaly unacceptable and unprofessional.

 

Either he's related to managment in someway....or he sucks all the bosses dicks

First I would've gotten him fired......then beat the chit out of him.

 

Oh that's funny. Even better... When i was looking at some 04's they had in stock at the local dealership I leave my gf in my mustang parked at the dealership go for a test drive in the Z, this dumbass car dealer starts rambling on about absolut6ely nothing and knows nothing about the Z and i keep telling him how hes wrong nad proving it. I get back and find a bunch of as*f*cks playing football out in front of the dealership and they HIT MY MUSTANG and numerous dealership cars. They didnt hit my car just once, 3 TIMES.

I get back my girlfriend tells me this and i flip. I find the manager tell him he apologizes and **** and I just start flipping out on this guy, than tell him the salesman who was with me on the test drive didnt know **** about the Z, that guy comes up to me and the manager and he begins to taunt my GF. I looked at the guy and asked him if he was mentally handicapped and why he would say something about my GF and he starts trying to start a fight with me INFRONT of his manager, and all the manager does is tell him to calm down as he still rambles on.

I than had my GF show me where they hit my car and I asked them to come look and the guy trys to tell me the dent there in my trunk from the football was not caused by the football. His manager walks away to get another manager and the guy than PUSHES me and kneels down to try and look at the dent which was just above my liesence plate, I calmly told him if he didnt get away from me in a timely manner I was going to kick him in the side of the head. He stands up like he is going to fight w/ me and I proceeded to tell him I have been doing Boxing for 8years, Wrestling for 6, doing brazilian jiu jitsu for 6 and MMA for about 4years, I have had 14fights and the speed at which I would drop him is faster than the times he tried to tell me the Z did. (Which was like 0-6 in 4.6 and 1/4 stock 04 13.8)

Anyways he walked away and the manager came out and apologized again i told him what happened and the guy was fired for touching me, but they didnt even try to make me a deal on the car that was the frustrating part.

Anyways I have heard worse horror stories in car dealerships But that is bad having somebody hold him back, that is real professional.
