base or enthusiast

If you're in to modding your car you might as well go base. I went for the enthusiast because i knew i'd never really get around to having an LSD installed. I also use my cruise control all the time, maybe it's where i live, lots of 40mph zones and lots of cops. Honestly though, they're both great buys. I was very close to just buying a base, but decided the upgrades would be worth it.

I like the cloth seats. The leather gets too hot in the sun in the summer. Between the humidity and the heat in New Orleans I don't know whats worse. The base suffers without the lsd mine slips all over when I hit 2nd and the rear end bounces alot when pushed hard. I also hit the rev limiter too often on 1-2 shift because of lost traction. Other wise who needs radio controls and cruise control anyway? I don't think I would use the traction control either.....I just was not brought up that way!!!

I bought a touring in 03. If I had it to do over, I would have gotten the enthusiast for sure. Best bang for the buck IMO.
And enthusiast -vs- base...........definitely the enthusiast.

HAHAHA I new this would happen so many mixed opinions. I am big on modifying, dont care about cruise control, or steering controls. So I guess it will come to whatever one I find first with a deal.
