Default Saying Good-by

Couldn't wait for the Z to come in. I found an 2002 M3 with a new updated engine, 1 mile on the motor. SMG and fully loaded. very clean inside and out. Very quick car. Was thinking of the G , wanting a bit more luxury and found this car. Best of both worlds. I enjoyed my 06 Grand Touring alot. As some suggested try something else...so I have. Car is not C6 Vet fast but C5 range. I'll miss the specialness of the Z and the true sports car feel, but think I can enjoy the M3 too.

Happy motoring......be safe

Was the car in an accident? Why did it need a new motor? Kind of scary don't you think?

Engine through an connecting rod. Carfax is clean. Car is almost perfect condition inside and out.

Ya what ever to the.the rest of you.

Actually I loved the Z alot. I'm 59 and am thinking down the road I'll be happier in the M3 coupe. I don't get the same feeling getting into the M3 as I did the Z. The Z has a uniqueness about it. The M3 is more comfy and alot faster. Family members didn't really like the Z's harsh ride. I had Koni yellow all the way firm at the corners.
I loved it but I was seeing that later it could be a bit much.
'
Remember mt 06 was totlaed by a drunk head on and the 07 was a replacement.

Some suggested I try another car since I had experienced the Z. I thought about that alot and changed.

Even now I am not sure if I did the right thing...that's how life is.

The time we have spent here (clear back to last month) have been special and rewarding. The loss of Boomer gt has everyone reflecting and questioning their very existence here on earth. Thanks boomer for all the impact that you have had on all of our lives.

Well, do you actually really know why your particular Z had a harsh ride? It's not because of the Z . . . it's what you did to the struts you installed. Please re-read your last statement above. Don't blame the Z for the harsh ride . . . blame the owner. Good luck, and don't forget to post back when you start paying those very expensive BMW maintenance & repair bills. I hope you did your homework.

wow i wouldnt' buy a car that had a new engine put in it. I know the 01's had problems with engines blowing up but it was supposidly fixed. Did the owner abuse the first engine? Also the m3 may be "a lot" faster but its also more expensive, you get what you pay for. Watch out for those 07 z's, they sound like they may give the m3 a better run hehe.
