Man, you've been away too long. Nissan is repositioning the Z as a family car now.

I bought a track so I wouldn't have to worry about adding **** on later, I just wanted to enjoy it out of the box. So far, it has lived up to all my expectations.

I think Brembos should be stock no matter what, I hate the looks of my ugly non-brembo calipers. It adds alot to the overall look of the car.

That would raise the price of each car. Remember, Brembo's don't actually improve braking distance, they just have much better endurance which is really only tested during road racing sessions.

Just get some paint and add some color to your calipers.

Even then it still wouldn't look as nice as a mono-block caliper. That and the factory brakes look rather small. WHen i got my Z, my friend with an Evo wanted to see it right away. First thing he said was "your brakes look tiny". haha, oh well.

Did the Track model cost more or less than the GT?

I believe that the 2006 regular non-bimbo brakes are bigger than previous model years.

Track model was the model below the 35th Anni in 2005 and GT in 2006. Its MSRP was around $36k IIRC, with the GT being around $38k.
