I am going to place an order this week for a 07. I havent yet settled on which model to get.

Touring w/ Aero Kit
or
Grand Touring

are the RAYs 18/19s and Brembos worth ~3,000? that seems to be the only difference I see between the models.

The 18/19 Rays are a beautiful set of wheels and nobody really has them. I actually would've loved a track model, but so much for that..

 

Personally I alerady have Aftermarket Volk rims. So the rays did not matter to me. All I wanted were the brembos and it was not worth the 3k just for the brembos for me :/

 

Just get the Touring, and get a better looking set of wheels, and get some better brakes later down the road.

 

If you offered me new RAYs 18/19s and Brembos for $3,000 I would buy them yes.

 

I would get the GT, but thats just me!

Yeah, I'm contemplating the same thing. Along with the Brembos and Rays use also get the aero package. I think its worth the 3 g's. Brembos alone could run you over 3,000. I'm thinking of just getting the GT and later on selling the wheels and brakes. That is if I ever feel like upgrading to something else.

to Mod or not to Mod, that is the actual question!

 

3g's for the package prolly breaks down to 60-75 bucks per month in payment, or $2.00-$2.50 per day. I'd say yes to the package.

 

$1500 for brakes and $1500 for the wheels with factory warantee. Humm.

It's worth it unless you want wider tires / wheels later. For $3000 you can't really get a nicer set of wheels that are wider .... and then there's the Brembos that will add to the value.



Heck want do I know I bought a Base and '06 Wheels for $1000.
