Pre-Delivery letter to Dealer

Since I have had so many problems with car dealership not taking care of my vehicle when it arrives, I have sent my dealer this letter. Hope this helps some of you that are concerned. Fortunately, I have had a wonderful salesperson and dealership from the get go, unlike some of you.
"Dear XXXX:
It has been a pleasure working with your dealership. I find it almost a rarity these days to find sales people as courteous and helpful as you were. I just wish that all dealerships did things on the level that you do.
My fiancé and I have a few requests to ask of you before our vehicle is delivered to us. I hope you understand our concern for these precautions. We have had some very big problems similar to these when we ordered our new AMG Mercedes (rare vehicle) about a year or so ago. It seems that anytime a new car comes out with high demand we have these problems. When our vehicle arrives we request the following:
We would like the original window sticker intact. You may remove it as long as it remains intact, or you may leave it on the vehicle and we will remove it.
Please do not buff or wax the vehicle's finish. A wash is sufficient.
Please drive the vehicle only enough to insure it is functioning properly, DO NOT redline the engine. Please do not allow other sales people to drive the vehicle, only the person that is responsible for pre-delivery inspection.
Please insure the interior of the vehicle is cleaned and vacuumed, but do not apply any cleaners or preservatives to the interior surfaces.
Please do not use the vehicle as a “show” car, you may do so only if it is roped off.
Please do not affix or apply dealer nametags to the vehicle. WE DO NOT WANT A FRONT BRACKET OR LICENSE PLATE AFFIXED TO THE FRONT OF THE VEHICLE.
We really appreciate your attention to these details. My fiancé and I will be back from our vacation August 23rd , if for some reason should our Z arrive earlier than anticipated, we will make arrangements to have the paperwork completed by then.
If you have any questions regarding our requests, please feel free to call me. We are excited about our new Z, I am sure that beyond a doubt , it will be a success for you! It has been a pleasure doing business with you!"
I would suggest that you indicate to your dealer the same. When you have an affordable vehicle such as the Z, EVERY Joe blow in town is going to want to sit in it, touch it, and drive it. Unless these items are made clear in the beginning you may have a problem. Sales people want to sell more cars, so they do what they need to to get the sale, but with this letter it may alleviate or elimanate this problem. Good luck.
