two things...thread title is misleading and why on earth would they exclude the GT model when CA sells more cars than any other state? As others have stated this is complete BS and not true.

I completely understand the new additions to the car that make it more appealing and what so many of you are looking for, however...

I'm sure most, if not all, of you have watched the STEEP drop in resale value on these cars. I just bought my DB Z perf w/ 30k and warrenty for 16500...

I don't understand why most of you don't wait 6-8 months, let someone else eat the instant off-the-lot depreciation and possibly buy the car for 1000's less w/ only 7-11k on it???

I plan to purchase the new GT-R when it arrives but I won't be purchasing it new off the lot. I'll wait patiently and get a good deal.

just my
Because I know how y'all drive your Z's, I don't want your sloppy seconds.

ANyone??
The salesman told me straight out that they wont be getting 2007s until 3 to 6 months because they had a gazillion 2006s and proceeded to tell me they were giving a $1000.00 reduciton in sticker price for the 2006's. I was like WOW thats great (grumbles). I walked away told him I wasnt the least bit intersted Ive been waiting for the 07's. Went right to the fleet manager who told me they have 07's in the back being prepped for sale and showed me a few. He then looked up when they were getting more on the computer in front of me and showed me the different models and colors and what days they would be there. Salesman are so full of $hit, they have no idea what they are talking about 90% of the time and will tell you anything to sell a car.

Btw for all those that dont know it if your a Premium AAA member your price for the Z is 500.00 over dealer invoice (thats what they pay for it) through the fleet manager. Im just waiting to sell my current vehicle then I am buying me a new 07. Cant decide if I want the Grand Touring or the Touring. Nice thing about the Fleet managers is they arent hard sell people, they could care less if they make the sale or not.

500 over invoice is to much, I paid under and my friend who just got a 07 paid under.

Invoice, which is what the dealer pays for the car from the manufacturer, not 500 over MSRP which is what the sticker on the window says.
