This is a really stupid statement in this context. Boosting a VQ to 500+ bhp is going to make it hilariously unreliable compared to a LSx at equal horsepower.
The statement was really intended to be targetted at the tt'd G's vs. the tt'd Vettes, not comparing a stock motor to a built tt motor. Sorry, I didn't make that clear enough. The LS series is pretty okay, but I had tons of problems with my LT1 in my trans am. I went through a new motor in under 30000 miles with next to no engine mods. Plus I can beat on my G all day (and the other japanese cars I've owned, and they'll just laugh at me and say "is that all you've got") but I was always breaking something on my trans am. I'm not trying to compare vettes to Z/G's. We all know they aren't comparable.

6 months and not a single picture or update as promised? I feel skeptical.

i seen pics of an LSX motor in a Z already.
As long as you got money and fabricator can figure it out.
I would do it in a different car though. I dont think this car is a gresat donor for this.

A built and stroked TT VQ will cost much more than the setup I listed above. It will also be far less reliable. BTW, I never mentioned the Corvette. I'm talking about an turbo LS7 in a Z, which would cost much less than a bone-stock Z06.

oh btw.. i got a quote from Hinson. For me to take my car up there and swap a LS2 with heads and a Moderately nice sized cam would cost 18,000 after everything. (Turn Key). thats about 500 rwhp. Btw..to "Lawy'dU".. 500 rwhp is achievable with a simple TT setup. Have you heard of torque? maybe you've heard of the words Turbo-Lag? Maybe you've had a turbo'd car and know that the heat of it is nasty and turbo'd vehicles break a lot? Maybe as i said above.. you are still a friggin idiot.
