Default Zs in Shops - down time

what would you consider acceptable?

I'm just getting my diagnosed and haven't heard anything in 4 day.. I called couple of times but no word yet.. I need other stuff done to the car by the same shop after this is fixed..
they do have a lot of customers and they're pretty busy. My issue is engine related.

What's the issue and what exactly are they doing? 4 days is not acceptable without a good explanation.. that's nuts.

under heavy acceleration, it loses power and hesitates.. they're suppose to call back to tell me what the problem is... getting a bit concerned.. I guess I can call them tomorrow.. I don't want to look like I'm harassing them, but at the same time, I need some answers..

I think you need to call Nissan USA about that, I would think that it would void the warranty, since they give you 15 more HP.

Matt (Sorry had to do it)

My guess is that every tech, mechanic, advisor, salesman and receptionist at the shop is out "test driving" your Z. Nobody seems to be able to reproduce the problem, even at full throttle through every gear. Sooner or later though, somebody will be able to figure out that there IS a problem.

What are your mods? Did you not try to diagnose the problem yourself? If you have mods I'm guessing that has something to do with it, and would narrow down the possibilities quite a bit...

well I thought of numerous possibilities.. ems unable to handle the 650cc, rich fuel surge, cas wire.. there was nothing visual and I didn't want to assume things.. it's in good hands, but was hoping for a reply before end of the week..

Did you ask them how long it would take when you dropped it off?

I had my dealer install mine so my warranty is still intact.
