I'm not sure if you can reset the average speed but I have never. My car is 3 months old now and the average speed is 54mph. I have 6,000 miles.

Wish they would have made an average RPM reading.

Yeah, I admit, sometimes I run a little fast... just keeping up with the rest of traffic...

My car is a daily driver but it is 90% highway. I never reset it since day one & I test drove it in the city at 3 miles to 7 miles before buying. I went from South Louisiana to Tunica, MS last month and people average 85mph on I 55 so that might have a little influence also.

I'm on a mission to see if I can get mine to triple digits, even briefly. Wonder if it goes that high?

I think it should work, but you'd need to already be in the triple-digits, then do a reset, while holding onto triple-digit speed for at least 1 minute.
