I can't wait to see the Black Z. I sent out my Group Z application a week ago and no response yet. It doesn't matter, I'm now on the waiting list at Cerritos Nissan and getting $1000 off MSRP!

 

If anyone knows exactly when and where in the L.A. area please let us know I missed the one in Beuna Park because I had a late class but I'm dying to sit int he Z.

 

GroupZ meets at Fuddruckers Restaurant, Beach Blvd. and the 91 Fwy. Buena Park on the second thursday of each month.
The next meeting is August 8,2002 at 7:30PM.
No guarantees that there will be any cars in August...but we have been lucky for the past few months.

 

There are rumours that a Super Black Z will be displayed at this meeting. Could someone PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE take some pics and post them here?

 

How the hell did you get it for $1000 BELOW sticker????? But thanks to you, it just confirmed my decision to be put on a waiting list at Cerritos Nissan. 50 pre-orders, #8 on the "people with deposit" waiting list. Hopefully, 8 people will drop out.

I've called about every Nissan dealership in Southern California, and now have some hope I'll be getting my new Z in the first batch.

 

LOL. If you want to get $1000 off MSRP, go to www.groupz.com and join the club. According to my salesperson, I'm #3 on the "people with deposit" waiting list. If you want a Silver Z, you're in luck since many people ordered those. They also have some LeMans, a few Redlines, Blackouts, and Daytonas. Im hoping someone drops out on their Blackout! I can't decide on a color yet.

 

I want to get the car ASAP. So if I'm on the "people with deposit" list, I have priority to get the car when the first shipment comes in.

 

The pre-order phase is gone. Those that have pre-ordered are good to go, being able to purchase the exact car they want in the exact configuration they wanted for MSRP.

The wait list is for people like me and icyblue in case the pre-order people can not go thru with their deal for one reason or another. Theoretically, if all the pre-order people follow through, we're SOL until the next phase. So Icy, you see a stock market slide comin' or peeps wives getting pregnant anytime soon?

At least I'm in line...

Haha, no problem! I hope people start dropping out ASAP so I could secure one before delivery in order to request the dealer to not install the front plate/bracket. I wanna be there when my baby arrives.
