My 1 year anniversary
I've had my new '06 for exactlly 1 year now. I can't believe it's been that long already. 17,000 miles on the ODO. Should have been a couple thousand more miles but had that whole oil consumption short block swap BS.
Most Z's have a list of quirks to them. Some suck a$$ big time and some are just minor annoying things, that after a while I never even notice anymore.
It took a year but I just finished my up last mod, which was dressing up the engine bay, which I think could even win a award or two someday. I never had any intention of doing anything under the hood at all but the dealer put a small scratch on the stock strut bar on the short block swap and it bugged me a little and it all started with the Cusco strut bar but when I did that one thing led 2 another and about $1,300 later it gives me wood now.
In the last year with all the ups and downs and stress with the engine and the dealer, I asked myself if I didn't buy the Z what would I have bought instead?
I just finished waxing the Z and the answer is there is no other car!!!!.
Ok I lied. I'm waiting for the weather to warm up so I can paint the calipers, then I will be offcially done.

Sounds promising. I'm gearing up to purchase a Z soon and I'm hoping that I don't run into any huge problems with the car. From what I've seen on various Z boards the overall experience should be a pleasant one.
Just curious...what are some of the "minor" problems you've run into?
