Angry Well I am now retaining a lawyer......

So since I bought my 2006 350z on 12/30/06 I have had nothing but irritation and trouble from it. I have had it at the dealership for the same problem 4 times in the first 3 weeks that I had the car, and Cerritos Nissan said they can't fix it call corporate. Called corporate 6 times, the first of which was 2 weeks ago, then had a friend who owns a business development firm call on "my behalf", no answers for him either. So I am now retaining a lawyer that specializes in the lemon law to deal with these jack offs. I will never buy a Nissan product ever again in my life. I can't believe the way I have been treated by the dealer or by corporate. Never go to Cerritos Nissan..........ever.

I'll let everyone know how things turn out.

take it to a diffrent dealer if that one sucks! dont jump the gun and hop on the SRT-4 bandwagon or something... geez. What is the actual problem you are having so much trouble with? The car will most likely fall under the lemon law and with all manufacturers this happens but I would give the Z a second chance especially if it is rectified. The dealer is probably just as frustrated as you trying to fix the same car with the same problem over and over is a huge PIA!! (especially when the customer is angry)

I agree. Different dealerships in many cases will yield very different results. I would try that first before I take legal action. At the end it might save you some time. money, and more trouble.

i was going to suggest lemon law but i see you've got that towards the end of your rant ;x if they dont replace your car you can sue them for a new one, and the time aggrivation and crap they caused you, so essentially hope they dont so you can get more money from the stealership :X or nissan or whoever , crappy to hear about that, i've had my Z since 04 no problems, replaced my transmission once recently cuz i drove it to hard at the track and thats it, no hassle though

If you rant to the dealer the way you are talking about nissan on here, There is no wonder they are telling you to go away.
Go to a different dealer, and don't threaten them with a "lawyer" because this usually forces them to take a step back and not work with you anymore.

Is this the dealer you purchased the car from? Typically with Lemon Law situations there is an arbitration process through the manufacturer...I'm honestly surprised that it has gone this far. I would try to find the regional representative from Nissan corp, it sounds like you may be trying to call a little too high at the Corp. office.

I've had a situation with Audi in the past and they lemoned one of their A3s for engine issues, its a bit of a lengthy process...but no lawer was required.

Default Im glad your taking some action.

I live right down the street from cerritos nissan, but I drove almost 30 mins away to west covina nissan just because I know how they treat cars at cerritos nissan. I will make sure and show this to a manager or the proper channels. I despise people who think they can just take other people's hard earned money

The car veers to right at all speeds and there is a loud gear/diff whine at speeds above 80mph. I have an appointment with Long Beach Nissan Monday to see if they can rectify the problem. I never told the stealership I was getting a lawyer during all this. They told me that they can't fix the problem and that I needed to call coroporate to no avail. Called corporate multiple times with no response. And I know who my regional specialist is, it is a guy named Mr. Crumley who also never returned any of my phone calls.

And speed racer, the only tampon I know of is the one coming out of your *** from getting rammed so much.

I'll let everyone know how it turns out. Thanks to those that had suggestions.

Matt

hey....i think i read somewhere that all 350z's steer a bit one way or another...to it helps u keep eye on the road and oncoming traffic...or i could have just made that up hahaa...i could have sworn i read it somewhere on the forums.....dont know about he gear whine...

also, if there really is a problem...this does fall into lemon laws...usually the after the 4th time and no fix...u can pursue a lemon law case

Yeah I know all cars are supposed to go one way or another. My old car does too, but Nissan's rule is it has to drive in the same lane of traffic for 7 seconds on a 1% tilted grade and there is no way that the car will do that. We'll see Monday after another dealership looks at it. See ya.
