Is 200mph possible?
This was asked before but after searching I couldn't find an actual thread on it. Can the 350Z go 200+mph and what would it take to do it? This is a what if scenario but keep to real parts and add-ons without just putting a 350Z shell on a car that will do 200+. TRY to list parts and price just estimating if you know everything it would take.

I think its possible with 600+ whp and the 3.3 gear swap. Very possible. I think the most important part is aerodynamics. You need enough downforce without causing the weight of the car to go past 4500 lbs. This isnt a scientific number, but what i'd expect it to be. (basically 1k lbs of downforce)

If am not mistaken Nissan JGTC engineers say the Z body was capable of 200mph, and one of the main reason the JGTC Z had to be redesigned.
Of course if you throw enough HP at anything you can get it to 200mph, but realistic and street legal, I dont think its possible.
As for money wise it would be far cheaper to by a Ferrari versus the R&D to get a Z to 200mph

You're drag force F(D) will increase exponentially as you increase your velocity, Thus the power you also increases at an exponential rate to overcome the increasing drag force and continue accelerating (Purposely ignoring gearing, tire dimensions etc)

Do you mean it was not capable? This statement is kind of contradicting!
