I see a few around campus all the time, but there are only a few modded z's maybe 1 or 2 other than mine for the whole campus.

I see a fair amount of them but then again, I've got my "Z-dar" on so i spot them a lot more than do regular folks i imagine. Im just thankful that with SO many silver cars on the road these days ive got a black one.

I think you tend to see more when you have that car. i saw very few celicas before i got mine, and then after i got it I saw them everywhere. I'm sure it will be the same when I get the Z. (that time is steadily approaching)

Fairfax, VA: pretty common, as are the G35c's. Two pretty good stories about this topic though:

I drove my Z to Wisconsin to visit my family and show off to all the old high school buddies. This was back in 2004, when the Z was still fairly rare. I was driving up north of Madison in the middle of no-where on a back road, hardly anyone out at all, when a Silverstone Z comes out of nowhere, being driven by an old man. I was like WTF mate? I am sure he was as shocked as I was!

There aren't many Ferrari around here. One day driving to work I pass a yellow one (not sure what type), and I was thinking "nice car, very rare"... a few miles later, I pass a red one, same model! I chuckled to myself and thought "man, I haven't seen a Z yet! My baby is rare!!"

I see Z's around but I hardly see any modded roadsters, so I still feel special.

Maybe 1 or 2 a day around here. Too close to Fairfield county, all those cool people drive their Bimmers/Audi/Benz/Ferrari/Porsche etc.

Dude, chill with the RSX jokes. It has gotten really old, really fast.

Well ya i hate that feeling makes me feel not special, that why im fixing the look of my Z to be unique. Plus you realize the Z more a lot more now since you have the car its like that with every car you have you just buy.

Let's just say that doesn't happen anymore.
Cracks me up, this still happens to my Z and at the most random times.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, who cares what anyone else thinks. If you love your car, that's all that matters.

+1 to this. I saw a Z "here and there" before, now I spot every single G35/350Z that comes my way.

I still get a few questions here or there. Once at a redlight and then a few other times at gas stations. One guy said he was looking to get a Porsche used, but couldn't find one he could afford. He loves the Z so I told him to check them out -- cheap alternative to a Porsche and its at the very least, tied with a Boxster in terms of speed.

theres no way there are too many. imo there arent enough... its definetly the best sports car in everyway for the money.

i see maybe one or two a day if im lucky out here.

if you think there are too many imagine how the altima guys feel.... that was nissans best selling car this year. and you guessed it, the Z was the worst.

If I had a dollar for every Z I saw on my commute to work, I wouldn't have to go to work.
