I think he's being sarcastic. Basically exaggerating that there's a boat load of Z's in Phoenix.

Just to give you an Idea of how much production has decreased; In May of 2003 Nissan sold 3,568 350Zs

The numbers look reasonable to me. After all we do drive a 2 seater sports car, can't expect the numbers to be too high and im glad there aren't more out there because it makes us more exclusive. Check out this out...

2006 Corvettes Produced Amount Percent

Coupes 16,598 49%
Convertibles 11,151 33%
Z06 Hardtops 6,272 18%
_______ _______
Total 34,021 100%

I can't believe the low resale on these cars already. I KBB'd my 05 Track the other day... Good shape, with 36k miles it was only worth $23k private.

I don't have any Honda production #s, but here are US sales #s for Honda and Nissan for last month and December 06. For this year so far and and all of 2005 and 2006, the 350Z FAR outsell S2000s.

Hey guys, new here. It's great up here in Buffalo, I can go days without seeing another Z on the road. I was at a light and a guy asked me if it was a new porsche.

Update 1,495 350Zs sold in February of 2007 (2,249 in Feb of '06)

http://www.nissannews.com/corporate/...01104940.shtml

Only 885 G35 Coupes Sold in February (1,643 Feb 06)

I'll add there were only 24 "selling days" in the month of February. I think the norm is 26-27.

The fall off in sales is no big thing. At least they are not going the way of the 300zx. Between 90-96 they only made 90k. But they were over priced in the very end, which caused their downfall in the U.S. market. If sales are down this year, it might be for the redesign factor in 08.
