hahaha.. speaking of which.. Jill did you race Len on Sunday? He told us he wanted to film a 1/4 mile, automatic vs MT. Me and a couple others had to leave early Sunday morning to make it to Englishtown so we couldn't do it.

 

Nope, I worked on Sunday, I left AC Sunday morning (I don't remember what time cuz I was drunk )

 

hehe.. trust me you weren't the only one drunk What really got us was that we forgot about daylight savings.. so when the wake up call called us at 4 am instead of 5... umm we weren't exactly fuctional. where in AC did you stay?

 

We went to the Casbah in Taj Mahal - I didn't end up staying over though because my friend was being moody. I don't even remember most of the things that happened at the club - lol whoops! I don't even think I went to bed until 7 am or so, at least that's what time I got home from AC. I woke up at 11 for work, so needless to say, I was a little out of it at work all day yesterday. Glad you guys had a safe trip back!

 

For those of you that left Cape May before I did Sat night, Len should have a couple of good shots or video of my Z in how should I say, "smoky conditions".. Did anyone take pics of the donuts???? Maybe Len could post a 30 sec clip of the "action shots"......

FYI, if a couple of people are interested, after the snow melts, Len will probably make his way up to my neck of the woods to do some filming at raceway park. I am trying to get time at the drag strip and road course.......

Actually yeah, I was driving towards you while you were doing your donuts, and we have some clips of it as well on video. I'm also down with going to raceway park whenever it is. I was actually there Sunday morning. There were 3 other Z's there on the drag strip, including the importlife Z.

 

To summarize Jills night..

Glad to hear every1 had fun! the final turnout was 25 Zs and loads of great people! Wait till you all see the video! omg! 1/2 mile of us hogging the road! You can Imagine I'm sure..gotta start going through it all and start editing.. I'll keep every1 posted on progress and put up some teaser vids if sm1 has a server to lend..the other forum is down...so there went my ftp! Anyway, Thank you guys/gals for making it all possible!

That's Steve (z2thdr) from Canada. He might look "mild mannered", but he's a madman. You want doughnuts? He puts Krispy Kreme to shame. He burned through his regular set of back tires within a matter of minutes. Then he switched the fronts to back and backs to front and burned through those even faster, giving new meaning to the term "blacktop". We all felt bad for him because he had to drive back to Canada on tires balder than Peter Arnett, so we "borrowed" some wheels and tires from a Toyota that was parked in the parking lot and warned Steve to "take it easy". He did seem to settle down after that...
