The comparison is really between a Z touring and the G35 as they can be similarly equipped. With the G35 you can get a sun roof and the back seat for more storage, but I'm with the many that say there are advantages of not having a back seat and I rarely have wished for a back seat for more storage and I take a lot of long trips. I'm definitely happy I got the Z, but handling is very important with me, not luxury.

Im gonna try for 07 Carbon Silver Z later this year. Im gonna try and save $400/mon till August and add that to trade-in value difference to the loan payoff and try to get under $425/mon @6%. Hopefully, I can get $6k or $7k downpayment. Anything higher than $550/mon is already lurking into higher luxury vehicles.

I pay $452/mon for 60 months @4.9%. I bought an '06 GT in Jan '07 that was manufactured in Sep of '06. Maybe I shoulda waited for the HR... I don't know that it's a huge difference over the DE though. I say give 'em a couple years to get the recalls & bugs worked out of the HR before getting one... My '06 will probably be my last Z before getting a GT-R in '09 or '10... <shruggs>
