Ok, heres the thing... My AWESOME dad just bought me a new 350z in San Marino Blue but initially I wanted one in Magnetic Black and at the time the dealer ship they didn’t have one in that specific color. BUT, The dealership does have a grace period of 3 days in which you could trade the car in for any reason in which you are unhappy.... Then the dealership just got in one new Magnetic Black 350z just yesterday, and I’m fastly approaching the end of the 3 day grace period but I’m thinking if I should take it back and change it. At first I didn’t like the color that much b/c really wanted a black Z, but I have come to like it. A lot of people love the blue, but I have always had a thing for black cars.

I like that blue. So dark it will shine up like the black(and need frequent cleaning) but it has some rich color to it.

i think you should go for your first choice, my friend use to have the smb when she got her celica, after a while, it's just not so hot. she repainted white. you're always safe with black. just my opinion, i know a lot of people here loves smb.

 

First year for that blue...I would keep it. Hell, I think you're the first one on the board with that blue.

keep the blue ,IMO black really doesnt look good on our cars. Besides the upkeep on black is a PITA.

 

Ive got a MB love, but the SMB would be awesome too. Id say if you got the SMB now keep it, less paperwork.

The blue, looks like it will show different shades in the sun just like the brickyard. The only other colour I'd go for is black though.

 

Take it back man its your car, get the color you want.

If Nissan do a limited run on the SMB as they did with the very similar 300zx very dark blue, will make it more rare therefore have a higher resale value should you choose to part with it at a later stage, oh and it's the first year of the colour.

Ultimately which colour will give you the greatest satisfaction each time you wash it, drive it, do any work, mod it, etc??? It's still the same car whichever colour you have.

I think that Black is the best color for any car.
