you are supposed to drive your car, not abuse it.

There's a fine line between hard driving and abuse.
Although I wouldn't burn thru my tires just to see some smoke.

obviously this guy is 16 and daddy just bought him a new Z. he wants to impress his teenage buddies by doing burnouts with his new Z. lets help him accomplish this goal guys so that he can be cool.

A gallon of 87 octane drenching the tires should give the effect you're looking for.....

Put the clutch in, rev to 3500rpm and let go of the clutch, you should just sit still and produce an instant cloud of smoke, like the pic below, no need for hitting the brakes.... Cutting the wheel while modulating the throttle will get you doin a donut but if you just hold the accelerator and dont let up on it, you can sit there till your tires explode, if you want, of course I dont reccomend it. Also, if you dont have LSD, then just forget about it till you get one.

PS; burnouts are expensive. Its fun if you are ready for new tires anyway and you just want to give the old ones, one last hoorahh but otherwise its just plane foolish. Enjoy.

Check the side wall. Tires are rated either S (smoking) or NS (non smoking). Maybe you have NS tires.
