Default I know this is going to be biased but I need some help.

Looking to get a new car, getting rid of my 00 S4. My two choices are an Evo, or the 350z. Both have their strong and weak points. The two seater of the 350 doesnt bother me, as I am young, no family to lug around In my eyes the 350 takes the looks, but does it take the cake with quickness?

one to get the ball rolling and it sounds like from a roll the evo isnt quite as quick as id imagine...IMO the cars are very different though.

Both are respected cars at autocross, drag racing and on the open road course. Drive both, and I think you will see that each has a unique character. Buy the one that suits your needs.

test drive both, but lowering springs do wonder to make the evo (or the Z really) look worlds better.

I would love an evo, but I am IN love with my Z and have been since I bought it two 2+ years ago.

AWD turbo sedan vs RWD N/A Coupe. Very different feel for these two cars. Test drive both then toss a coin...

You get kudos for comparing 2 sport cars at least. Nothing worst than a Ford Fusion vs 350Z dilema... Lol

All depends on whether you want to have walk backwards to get to your car everyday so you won't offend your eyes. If you don't, its a Z hands down.

they are comprarable in speed. Under most circumstances the evo will be just a shade quicker, but in my oppinion its not a big enough difference for you to notice on a daily basis. They drive differently though, test drive both and figure out what kind of feel you like. IHMO evo = more 'exciting/***** out' driving experience and Z = an excellently executed sportscar that follows the classic front engine RWD formula.

Of course if you're planning on modding there's not really any comparison in the dollar to horsepower ratio.
ON the other hand, there's no comparison in the looks department either.

Good Topic, 2 totally different cars though. Take away the Turbo and you still have a 4 Banger. Put a Turbo on a Z and now you have a Monster.
