Well. I have quite a few choices. I'm getting rid of my 00 S4, and my choices are. Trans AM Ws6, Camaro SS, Saturn Sky Redline, Evo 8, or the 07 Z. Of course this may be biased, but whats all your inputs?

 

Ofcourse im going to say 350z but other then that i would take the evo 8 any day

 

I'm trying to figure out what it is you are going for here.. these are very different cars.

Trans AM Ws6- used , good straight line power
Camaro SS- same as above
Saturn Sky Redline- new, turbo 4 roadster
Evo 8- used, turbo 4 sedan
07 Z- sex on wheels (ok.. a little biased )

What are your priorities in making this purchase?

 

Nothing really. Im young, just want something real fun and different then alot of people in the area, which is why Im probably staying away from the Evo, too many around here. But it was more between the Z and the Sky. Not sure yet.

 

Ummmm.. Why do you have EVO 8 and not EVO 9? THere's a big difference in performance between the two.. If you want just pure fun and aftermarket cheapness, go with the EVO 9... The EVO 9 is alot more capable for the $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ IMO.. I take that back.. It's a FACT..

If you have deep pockets and you want something sexy to look at, the Z is for you.. WIth a little $$ you can make it just as competitive.. Alot of people say that the EVO is more capable on the track, but honesly, how many people can really drive their cars to that limit..

 

dont know what the redlines are priced at and if thats a factor but speed wise a guy here posted that his friend got one and the Z was quicker but not by a whole lot.

theZ will be a bit more practical as well

 

I would choose the Z, But it depends what you like! If you like taking cars through the turns take the Z or Evo. Straight lining go for the cough cough the WS 6..

 

The Sky is a competent car.. I don't know how many Saturn performance parts you can look forward to.. and although this may be said about the Z, it's definitely said about the Saturn.. it's a chick car.

 

atleast the skys better than the solstice though as far as chicks cars go.....ws6 looks better than the camaro ss....but american muscle...ehhh...evo 8 or 9 are up there insurance wise, and the 07 z looks better than all of them....so that would be my pick, along with probably everyone else on the my350z.com forums

 

I would go with the EVO because I am a Canadian.

Well I just read that the Skys are very unreliable heh, maybe shoulda read more before I posted this thread. As for the Z, I love it in every factor except one. It takes alot of money to make fast doesnt it? That was the only downfall I saw. I guess I can survive the winters of NJ with some snowtires.

 

Drive all and pick one.

why not keep the S4? thats a pretty sweet car.

 

I was thinking the same thing. The S4's are AWESOME.

 

Im guessing its probably going to be between the Z, and the Ws6. Im in love with the muscle sound of the trans, and the speed is just crazy, on a straight line like you all mentioned. The thing about the Z is, so much money to make it just a tad bit faster. I want it to be crazy on the road, and I dont know if I would be able to keep up with the mod prices
