Another one bite the dust...hard!
So I came upon this article on Friday, after reading the name of the driver I instantly realized it was the brother of an old friend of mine. Last time I saw the car, which is about three weeks ago, it still has in transit sticker on it. His older brother was driving, I don't know if what really happened, but the driver is still in the hospital while my old friend, the passenger and the owner of the car, was released the next day.
The car, an 06 Touring, is totally gone. The damages on the other side is even worse, all suspension/axles and some of the drivetrain are gone. All airbag went off as well.

^^^If he wants to report this to his insurance company, no way will they let you strip the car.
I don't think the owner is going to let you strip the car for parts and lose out on the insurance payment either.
