Default 3-6 Month Depreciation: I WANT

I'm going crazy. I want a roadster now. But since I can't have one, I want something. So, I need the group's help.

If I purchase a Tour model now, then trade in this summer when a Roadster model becomes available, how much money am I going to lose?

Please read as TRACK. I meant TRACK instead of TOUR model.

just keep in mind that the minute you purchase the car and drive it off the lot , you just lost 3-4 grand

It's gonna be a pretty big hit for a few month old car. If you want the Roadster so bad, order it now and wait as patiently as you can.

Just be glad you weren't in the same boat as the PreOrder guys--some of them waited over a year!

My wife just got a Nissan Altima a month ago. While I was there I had them appraise my Touring Z for trade. ( Just out of curiosity, I knew there was no way in hell I was actually gonna do it.) They offered me 30 thousand. Sticker on it was a little over 34G. It was 6 months old at the time and had 6500 miles on it. I thought that was pretty good. Just FYI. Also, BTW, the price of the Altima had already been negotiated to 1 Grand under sticker, so I dont believe they were trying to stick it to me in the price and then over offer on the trade. Although I could be wrong. I just thought that it showed how well these vehicles hold their value, and they will continue to do so as long as there is such high demand for them.
