Don't Feel Special Anymore
With all the hype and anticipation, when i finally got my Z i was the only one at the university i work at that i could tell so i hogged all the looks for myself. I park in one of the big parking structures. Yesterday as i leave, lo and behold a brand spanking new Super Black Z in the structure. Now i don't feel unique and special...hahaha the Z isn't a highdollar exotic but sure felt nice to be treated like one for a brief period of time.
Any of you suffering from attention withdrawal?
Just being selfish but if one of you is in PSA at SC welcome to the Z family.
btw..usc has a shitload of nice cars driven by students...SL55, M3's galore, Z4's. 911s but being the only Z was cool.

I know what you mean. It was great when I first got it, because not many people had seen one before. I still get looks in it though. Now if ares would just get the heck out of town that would be one less . I have only seen two more in town, so that isnt too bad. Just means I have to mod it to stand out.

yeah Ill admit it, I saw the other black Z in town today, well didnt see it, I heard it, it was burning down the road and today it was crappy(has been all week) but the roads were wet, but none the less I distinctly heard him redline 2nd, I was just thinking, man if he spins that would suck, but I would have the only black Z on campus again....

I still have yet to see another DB when I'm on the road. I know Mike is lurking around somewhere, though. LOL
And I ALWAYS get people staring at the car, of course, the look is more along the lines of, "what's that GIRL doing driving such a sweet ride?!?!?!?" Man, just 20 more miles till break in is OVER and I can SHOW them what I do behind the wheel!

Damn! you're at break-in ALREADY?? Didnt you just get the car not too long ago?! GO GIRL! LOL
Yeah, I'm sure I'm going to be getting some of those kinda looks too. A chick driving such a sweet car - manual at that lol OOH! I cant wait til I go to my hometown next month for Memorial Day weekend. People are going to be salivating all over the place! It's a small town outside of Memphis and I highly doubt anyone there has one.

Have fun in yours and remember, whenever a guy looks at ya like you can't drive, prove him wrong!

I always feel special. Me special!
I have one of the few LMS in the area which is kinda fun.
Don't really care to be special though... I mean if you think you feel "unspecial" look at all the Mustangs, Accords, Civics, Boxsters, etc. owners out there. Dime a dozen.
On the road, I see more Boxsters and BMW 3-series then Z's during my commute.

and bcus people will generally start to feel less special, thus starts the compulsion to re capture that feeling by adding lots of plastic wings and SH** to make it "special" again, just wait and see who adds all the body kits...

I work just up the street from you on Fig in downtown. Sometimes I head down to Taco Bell for lunch (NOT b/c my Z made me poor but b/c I actually like the Bell) and if I'm in the Z, I park on some *** side streets b/c I'm afraid of getting dinged in the parking lot. If I ever see you (SB, your wheelz), I'll honk.

welcome to my life, around here everyone has some type of HOT car, 911s, Ms and AMG cars are everywhere, in the span of a couple days I saw a Lambo Marcialago and a brand new Ferarri 360. Oh well, I didn't buy this car to "keep up", I bought it for myself, it is a GREAT car.

I believe color has a lot to do with it also. I've seen two chrome silvers a white Z so far, and neither has come anywhere near as close as capturing my attention as the Daytona Blue has. Not dissing the other colors, but DB is just so vibrant! Can't wait to get home from college and take dad's car out for a spin lol.

I feel special every day. This is a case where having a Brickyard is the best. Nicest color, few ordered, no one else that I've encountered in the area.
Now that Nissan is going to discontinue the color, makes it even more special. Even with the tire wear I don;t care. Love it but Nissan is still going to fix the problem with the tires.
