The answer? Limited production. Period.

it's the sheer fact that they carry around too many automatic models and convertables! and they dont produce enough of the right colors! I can never find a nissan dealer that has popular colors with the right trim specs, EVER, they just need to research their market and find out what sells and they'll sell alot more.

Nissan still is doing great overall. I mean everyone is in a slump preety much. But i love nissans line up for 07 . Its gonna be very intresting and one thing they always needed was more advertising . I mean i see more sales and alitma commercials then anything
they need a commercial with a transition for the company
from dirt-pathfinder to towing -titan to sedan -altima - to amenities -maxima- to girly car-sentra - to sports car -Z a nice transition video showing why nissan is still very much in there. I love the titan to tell u the truth. Its a nice line up they just need to let the world know. I think the altima has gone the way of the civic. I wouldnt be surprised if u see a alitma nation commercial soon.

It's completely impractical and only suitable for (1) a single person, (2) post-college/trade-school, but pre-family couple, (3) Empty-nesters, or (4) people with kids, but have enough money that it's their second or third car. People with much more income than average drive Porsches, BMWs and Benz.
It's also not suitable for hobbies such as Mtn Biking, Kayaking, camping, snow sports (no 4wd) although some use it for that.
It's just a very small niche car.
The 06 altima starts at $17k and is pretty pimped out for $30k... Nice leather, climate control, NAV, NICE stereo (bumps!) Lots of room in the back seats, intelligent (proximity sensing) keys, push-button start.
I was checking one out in the showroom while waiting for my dealer to search for an 07 GT. I was almost swayed for a second... Then I snapped out of it!
