I was looking at an 95 Carrera before I bought my ZR. It was a drop top with AWD ,85K miles. They were asking 23K. I went home to think about it couldn't sleep that night. Went back the next day it was gone. So I traded my RSX-S for a ZR instead.

If all you are spending is 15K because you are trying to watch your money than you need a honda. I put 107K miles on my accord and have spent less than 2000 in repairs including 2 brake rotor and pad replacements. Of course it does not count oil changes. A m3, or any used sports car may just be another hole for your money saved from no longer having a payment on the Z.

don't buy a used audi or bmw unless it still has a warranty. Anything goes wrong you're looking at a pretty large bill. I saw someone say it, but if I were you, I'd buy a new car that you can afford that comes with a warranty.

On the other hand, bicycles are cheap to maintain. Maybe a skateboard?

If I had to give up my Z, the only car I would seriously consider is the current G35 coupe. My old man has one and it drives similar, a little more comfortable ride but it feels alot slower than the Z. If I got a raise at my job however, I would definately wait till the G37 comes out in August and buy that in white.

G35, NSX, or a GS. (Not in any particular order)

edit: I really like the new g35 sedan.

So many of you guys are throing out some expensive cars...some with super maintanence costs. S2k, Z06, etc...give me a break. Go with something cheap, but sporty. How about a 240sx, S13 or even a S14. Thats what I had before my Z33. Its still RWD platform and aftermarket support is HUGE. Or what about a EK9 or EG6 hatchback (Civic). Dont under estimate it because its FWD (poster above). They are light and can be fast left NA. Hell even a CRX. Great track car. Anyways starting to ramble. You can always get a older Tacoma. Save your money with a cheaper car and less costly mods.

My old S14

Bro, just get a Civic. You can get one of those yrs 2001 and up for around 10 grand. Great gas mileage and extremely low maintenance.
