Unhappy What would you replace your Z with?

I am facing a situation where the Z may be forced to go. I would have to find "cheaper" transportation. So, if this horrible event were actually to take place, what replacement would we Z owners find acceptable?

280Z with turbo V8. You could build it for under 10K.

yeah, but the mods to my face would cost too much as i wouldn't want to be recognized getting out of the car.

ooo! ooo! tell me more... I had thought of a 240 with the sr20det? engine swap or the skyline swap... just don't know how reliable the mods and the car would be.

DeLorean.

Hey, you could travel back to the past and avoided whatever it was that could have caused you to have to get rid of your Z. Also, since you're already headed back might as well invest some money in Microsoft.

your original suggestion was a dinky econo car... this is not the solution - nor is drastic plastic surgery

Can you define cheaper? Payments? gas? Insurance? something more practical? What did you buy in at with the z? did you buy new or used?

I dunno if it's much cheaper, but I think a mazdaspeed 3 would be a lot of fun. RSX's are fun too.

You can get a nice used e36 M3 for around $15k these days... what a steal...
