Was getting out of the gym today. Parked kinda far away when I'm walking out to my car and some dude was walking around my Z checking it out. Made me kinda nervous at first cause I thought he was looking to break in possibly but he ended up just walking away so I just assumed he was admiring the car.

On another note later in the day at the gas station a guy asked me if flames shot from my exhaust

That happens to me a lot at work. I work at a auto shop and I park my Z in the parking lot where I can keep an eye on it, and there is at least one person a week that starts checking it out in the lot. It did have me nervous at first but I have gotten used to it. I still keep an eye on everyone though. There are still a lot of scum bags out there.

 

Yeah, it happens a good amount when I go to places like Wal Mart.

 

I ran inside a restaurant to get takeout once and two dudes were looking at it. then one of them started pushing down on it right over my front wheel (testing the suspension?). I was about to rush out there and yell at him, but he stopped after like two seconds. Still its like WTF? its not normal to just go around touching other peoples cars. I checked it out and he didn't dent or scratch it thank god.

 

hahahah thats funny!..i just pictured the dude jumping on your fender..and sayin "calm down just checkin the suspension"..haha

 

LOL thats funny it happened to me at the gym today too i was parked pretty close and i went to put my bag in the passenger seat and another guy coming out looks at me and starts nodding his head and he looked like he never saw a modified z before. there are alot of z down here in illinois but i am the only modified z as far as i know.

Last summer , I was at work and i went on break and i saw a car pull up to my z and 2 girls and a guy jump out with cameras and start taking a bunch of pics of my car , that was weird to say the least.

 

Yeah, I've had quite a few, but touching the Z is a big no-no.

Yes happened to me at Home Depot and Costco a couple of weeks ago. BTW..the guy that was looking at my car is a member here. I forgot his name. If you are here please chime in.

 

just put a line of baskets upside down around your car when you go... Tell them I said it's ok. I work at Costco.

Almost everyday I have someone walking around my car or ask me if its mine. I've had it for 6 months and I still get people at work crowding around it drooling.

 

i bought a white 300ZX when it first came out, this hot looking brunette from work hopped into the passenger side the minute she saw it and said:"where are we going?"

I was coming out of the mall one day and this SUV was pulled up close to the car. A woman inside was taking multiple cell phone pics. As I got closer I just waited, not wanting to mess up her concentration! I asked her if she wanted to get out and take some, she said no thanks and smiled. LOL

this happened today to me...had to run to a store...parked the fairlady in the back( as i always do) and i saw some guy looking at my rims, exhaust, in my windows etc....i was getting a lil nervous so i started to walk to my car to hear nohing but compliments......its good to know my hard work and my MONEY are paying off.....
