No, it doesn't worry me about finding people admiring my car.. what does worry me is parking when I'm in a hurry to get somewhere, and someone checks it out as I'm trying to leave... I don't want to walk away from the car with someone checking it out!

not so much anymore, but back in 03 i had to beat em off with sticks...lol not really but i would routinely have people ask me about it or see people checking it out. doesnt bother me too much since i do the same thing with other cars and other Z's

Last summer , I was at work and i went on break and i saw a car pull up to my z and 2 girls and a guy jump out with cameras and start taking a bunch of pics of my car , that was weird to say the least.
did you take the girls home with you? whats the deal?!

One time I went to Ruby Tuesday to eat with my son and I parked next to another Z (with just wheels on it). Well I always sit were I can keep a eye on it and the guy in the other Z walks out to drive off. But he started looking over and around my car for ten min.

He then comes back into the restaurant and I watch him go to about three people and ask if that were there Z in the parking lot. I finally called him out. We ended up talking about our Z's for awhile. These cars sure do some strange things to us. That's just cause there such bad a** cars.

Most memorable one: MILF and child are slowly bicycling down my street as I'm out wiping down my rims... Kid about falls off his bike when he looks up the drive and MILF calls up to me and asks if her kid can see my car, so I let him come up and drool on it. No MILF action, tho... darn.

Funny story: not in my Z, but back in '95 when I had a red Honda Del Sol that was one of two red ones done up special by the dealer with Momo rims, striping and interior (don't laugh, it was cool at the time)... I was at a hobby shop and happen to see the reflection in a display case of two guys walking up to my car and checking it out for a few mins. I keep an eye on them, not too worried, until I saw one of the guys reach down and open the door that I knew I had locked! I freak and make a B-line for the door and when I bust outside, I see my car with no-one in sight... I look to the left and fifty feet away is parked the OTHER red Momo Del Sol that the dealer prepped! LOL, what are the odds? I was fooled b/c I saw everything through a reflection and didn't realize it wasn't my car (they had slight differences)... LOL. I played off my stupidity real quick and just kept walking to my car, then the guys came over to check it out and chat; was too embarrased to tell them what happened...

I had my Z parked at the local super america, and within a few minutes I had atleast six or seven people surrounding my car, some of them actually seen it from the road and had to pull in to the lot to see it, talk about being the center of attention.

dude some old bum asked me a while ago if it was a ferrari, i said yeah, it's the geo metro of ferrari's, and kept pumping my gas. i dont think he was happy with my quip but it gets annoying when people think that they need to talk cars with you just cause you hav one. you know?? sometimes i just wanna pump my gas or shop or get a car part in peace and not listen to people ask if it's a turbo or not, cause they think every one of them should be turbo'd, and then talk about their car plans like i cared. not hating, cause when i'm in the mood love it when people stare at it.

i dont mind when people admire as long as they dont touch.

scary story- I was parked at the mall in covered parking, it was late at night ( 20 mins before mall closing) and i came out to my car to see a guy leaning up against my car with 2 or 3 girls around and hes clearly acting like my car is his. i almost lost it. i very calmly walk up to my car and said hey, what the hell are you doing on my car. the girls look at him and laugh and i said get the **** off it. he was like oh sorry i didnt realize it was yours. thats happened now twice to me. different people both times.

i think i need radar sensors in my alarm

This happens ALL THE TIME to me in Oregon. Especially the town where I live because there are very few Z's and even FEWER that have any mods. I think I have personally seen only 1 other Z with any other mod's... and 2 total w/ rims.

One time I was at linen's and things, and I come out and this guy is circling my car and puts his hands up on the windows to look into it and ****. STILL DONG IT as I walk up to it, so I calmly said " DO you like it? " and he said yah and shuffled off.

Than one time about 3 people of hispanic dissent(no racism intended) came up and just stood around my car and started touching it all over while I was in a store and looking out, so I set the alarm off and they ran off... FAST. I made sure there were no scratches or anything, just some hand grease prints all over it.

I have to admit I check out other modded Z's but I don't get real close. I have only owned my car for 4 months. My car is an 04' but very clean and gets a lot of attention; which I don't understand, because it's just a stock enthusiast model. However, I do like the attention.... I don't mind other people checking out my ride but I still watch them closely.

I get compliments every now and then. Morning traffic is the worst. Had someone yell nice car, a bunch of times since I got it last year. I get pedestrians with "rubber-necking" checking my car as I pass them. I only had one person actually scoping out my car while it was parked, while I was coming back from work.

A mother and son was checking out my car. They were walking away from it when I passed them.

mom: It's cute, it's kind of small though.

strange you say that, it just happened to the other day to me at the gym. It happens quite often actually. Than when I catch them they get all freaked out and run away

+1 on that Cougar comment. I mostly get the rich, collagen injected, old bags around town.

Cougar: "Hey! Is that a Porsche?!"
Me: "Yes...it's a Porsche..."
