Almost Waited Too Long!
Just got back from running errands in the Z. It seemed to be more fun than usual. There was a long stretch of empty hiway, so I took it up to 100 and stayed there for awhile. Anyway, all you guys (and women) who bought your Z (or other sports car) when you're young, are smart. I spent a few decades wanting a car like the Z, but convinced myself that it just wasn't practical, or just a waste of money. I'm enjoying it more everyday. I just wish that I had this car when I was about 25 or 30.
I had a similar thought after I went home for X-Mas. Both of my uncles, each well into their 50's, once owned a 240Z and a Corvette. I was telling them that I would have a 350Z again after I finished school. Both of them loved their cars, and they told me that they always said they would buy another one once they finished one thing or another. But, they never did, and now they realize that they will never get their cars again.
One of my uncles said: you say it now, but something will always keep you from getting it again.
So, I am going to change history in about 2 months after I graduate!
No more getting stuck in the family-house rut like my predecessors.
