Funny little thing happened tonight while i was waiting for my pizza in my local shopping center. Im with my friend in my Z just talking and out of know where behind me with little kids running around, this red ford focus revs to about 6 grand and just dumps the clutch driving past me behind me where i was parked. It had to be one of the dumbest things i have seen somone do in a car in a long time. The Z really gets people wriled up for some reason. In the past 2 days i have had a 98 eclipse and a 1.8 gti try to race me. This car is a magnet for street racing. Just thought i would share this. and how dumb some people can be with their cars in highly populated areas.

 

hahah yea, the wierdest thing happened to me today. I had another Z follow me for about a quarter mile, then give me a thumbs down when i didnt agree to race them. The thing is, it was a hot chick!!!

 

I got a middle finger from a girls with Z4 before....

 

Kinda sad how people don't use what's in there skull. Oh well

 

that's true...the Z is a magnet for dumb kids who wants to street race. I had a stock STI (still had dealer plates) try to get me to run on the freeway last week...

 

I still laugh to this moment, like in a focus?? was he expecting me to be like sweeeet!.... The funny thing is not 20 minutes later on teh way home he was stopped right next to me he was in the right hand turn lane where as i was going straight, and i just gave him a look like( was i suposed to be impressed?? I drive a a car with a sticker price of 38,550 and your going to try and be cool in a ford focus, i dont waste my time with idiotic people. Dont get me wrong I pay for my car, my car is my luxury, i dont shop for myself i never go out to eat. My Z is my only luxury expence i have.

Sorry for the venting. OH and btw I thought it was funny how he was in his 30's ;-)

Heard those 420Z's have a flux capacitor. Thank god the STI vanished.

this same thing happened to me earlier in the week, except the car was like a '89 chevy cavalier with a wing and green neons, damn that thing scared the **** out of me but yea, the Z is a street racing magnet.

 

some ***** tried to race me on I-40 the other day, I declined and just ignored them. About 20 miles up they were pulled over by a state trooper. makes me laugh, everyone wants to race the Z for some reason.

 

ive never had a single person try to race me..

 

It's very annoying when you get some of these idiots that keep revving at you.

 

I have that problem once in awhile as well. I even had chevy trucks that tried to get me from a stoplight. wtf?!?! a truck? whatevers.

 

man Nitrouz that 420 Z TT logo is F.ING AWESOME. Not only that you got the power to back it up.

One day if i get TT, im copying you, im appologizeing in advance for stealing the idea hehe.

 

Honestly, that sounds like it could be one of the more legitimate races mentioned in this thread so far though.

My car gets its fair share of attention as well. It seems to get that much more since I put the intake duct in as well. It takes a lot for me to bite, and I just dont waste my time when I know its not worth it.

 

I had another Z blow by me on the highway last night. Thats the most attention I really seem to get, either Z's or G's.

 

I dont get alot of rice trying to run me. Iv had a heavily modded MR2 Turbo try to run me and a middle aged guy in one of the new corvettes. All the POS cars around here know not to mess with the Z's i guess . Its funny cause cars will rev at me like they wanna race and when they get stuck at a light beside me they take off sloooowwwlllyyy, lol.

 

I also failed to mention this blue rsx that revved up by me the other day to. I just shook my head
