Default Wreck

I was just in a really bad wreck and i just got my car back. There was over 20k in damage but my engine was untouched. The car seems to be driving the same but i was wondering if there is anything in particular that i should keep an eye on or check up on. Its an 03 and it has about 40k miles on it. Thanks.

The car is parked in my garage right now. it was NOT totaled. I was suprised bout that too.
Two new airbags and new dash = 3.5k
Two headlights = 1.6k
....
somehow all the **** added up to 20,277

Dude thats the value of your car. No way your damage is worth 20k. And if it is then no way it wasn't totalled. You mean to tell me your insurance thinks its worth fixing a car that is worth 20k for 20k? AND there might be hidden damages bringing the cost of repair even higher!

Figure out what you need to do TO GET A NEW CAR!

Just wondering, did this accident happened on a rainy day? What Trim level do you have?

Look for any Frame and Suspension damage(s)! Goodluck!

My z had 20k in damage in 2004 and they didn't total it

I have since put over 50k miles on it and it has run great since I got it back. I guess it depends on who does the work. Good luck and I hope you weren't hurt in the accident!

what trim is it. i dont even think my 06 is still worth 26k. But that is besides the point. You should look out for noises, leaks, make sure that when you park on a flat surface the car is sitting right, I would pull the fenders and front bumper to see that all the framwork they did is strong and straight. Also Im sure with that kind of damage they would have to replace the fornt clip. Really though i wouldnt have let them fix it. I suggest selling it!

20k? usually they would total a car for that....but i could see the costs adding up pretty quickly when you are paying full price for parts from nissan.

and what do you mean by a real fairlady? JDM RHD?
