Default Conditions for nissan ext warranty

I'm thinking of going with a nissan warranty and cancelling the one I have from the used lot I purchased my 2003 touring. However I bought the car with an injen exhaust and cai. Does any1 know for a fact if this is a problem?

I checked the warranty requirements and it doesn't mention it. It does mention however that the car has to undergo a 142 point inspection.

Has any1 ever got turned down for the warranty and why?

the way that they're supposed to have to do it is they can only void the warranty if it can be linked to causing a problem. they sometiems do make things up though and try and claim that the modification caused something. i would think that if you just have a catback and intake the catback probably wont be cause for concern. i would see if you can use a friends stock intake or something for the inspection because based on what i've seen, the dealers are very picky about using aftermarket filters and things. particularly if your CAI is a trus CAI that locates the filter in the bumper. the catback in reality will never cause any problem that i can think of and it would be hard for even nissan to come up wiht a wild story to claim it did anything bad

I suggest that you read the warranty. Modifications are clearly spelled out.
