Well my z is in the dealer for 3rd gear grind
you shouldnt have paid anything. with the new tranny you get 1: transmission2: throw out bearing 3: shift fork 4: clutch. the bearing and fork come as part of the new tranny and part of the service file for the tranny is a new clutch. so when they had you pay for it they were just padding their pockets a little. when it all shoudl have been covered by warranty. i know this because i worked for a Nissan dealer in the Metro ATL for a long while before leaving for Forged. the clutch is part for the service file. when they look up the tranny in parts if come up with a file that ssays it needs another part. which is the updated clutch. if the dealer does not have both parts on the ticket when they submit it to nissan for warranty clams they could have it kicked back. and the dealer would have to pay for the tranny.
i would seriously call nissan corp. about this. and get your 300 back and also tell them about trying to get to pay for the throw out bearing and how much they were going to get to pay for the clutch in the first place.

ultra u liked the service at hall? i was going to schdule my self to have them look at my tranny because i think its going south, they told me that its 100$ to look at it but if it looks like its not abused and there is something wrong i dont have to pay the 100$
You really think if i call and complain i can get my money back? I know i wasnt supposed to pay and it was included i just couldnt deal with the headache i jsut wanted my car back. haha well i didnt attempt to try that but it happened a couple of times before...but it was just coz i released the clutch too fast....i thought that's got nuthin to do with the tranny...although i must've ruined it a little coz of that few instances...
