So the infamous 3rd gear grind started last week brought my car this morning to the dealer got a 2007 murano for a rental things acutally pretty nice has some ***** lol. But anyway so they just called they say there covering the trannie but tryint to charge me for a clutch which im refusing to apy for. For one my clutch is still perfect they dont wanna reuse it why I dont know. And if there faulty tranny didnt break i would be in this situation so why are they tryin to charge me money cause there trannies suck. Its very annoyin to have a almost 40k sports car and find the trannie breaking at 55000 miles i hope they give me the 009 or wut ever and not one that still is gunna break. IM gunna keep fighting hoepfully i get what i deserve. DAM STEALERSHIPS

im the second owner dam so there supposeb to give me the clutch they refused to i have to pay 330 dollars for the clutch im such a idiot first they tried to charge me liek 600 and i got them down to 330 but i know i should be paying jack

so basically nissan is gunna give them my trannie and clutch under warranty and there raping me and charging 330 for the thorw out bearing so im not even paying fot he clutch ur sayin those basterds my car better be mint wheni get it i dont wanna hear no god damn rattles

its to late i think i agreed liek a dick. i was sick of arguening for 3 hours. i mean there paying for the trannie the flywheel and the rental but ur right i shouldnt be paying anything but all i really want is my z back and relible
how are your guys new trannies doing so im stuck with a 300 dollars bill now i guess it will be nice to have a new clutch i hope they give me that new cltuch pedal i was hearing about. Its taking them real quick they said my car will be ready tommrow afternoon which is good but, i bet that means they already ahve a trannie or something and prolly gunna put a 008 but i know the 009 just came out or something dam o well

let me ask u a question dont u have anything better to do then harass me about grammar thnx for ur useless post. But anyway i got my car back with teh 009 series trannie new clutch and flywheel. And let me tell u it never felt like this before it feels butter smooth no knotch i could blow the shifter in gear. Even when i first bought it never felt like this. If you got a 03 and havnt had your tranny changed even if its not grinding go get it done even my brandnew 03 trannie felt like crap compared to this. There no noises between 1st and second and no knotch and it doesnt even make that rattleing noise when idleing the one they say is normal. I bet i can trap a 1 or 2 mphs faster with this trannie thats how much better it feels. But guys how long should i let it break in or do i even need to i assume i do. And by the way thge guy that said ur luky they didnt get you on more acutally i kursed the hell out of them and paid nothin so my bad grammar and vulgar tone seemed to work good in this situatiion lol

Did the dealer get the 3rd to grind? Mine is so intermittent that it would probably never happen if I took it there. It is way notchy though.....

when i brought it in it was grinding everytime. About 3 months ago it was like yours only doing it sometimes but it always was notchy. If its grinding sometimes now soon it will be doing it all the time bring it in then and theyll give you a 009 for sure. I mean you could try and bring it in now if there nice theyll change it i mean tehy should but they may say the cannot duplicate bullshtt. Bring it in tell them it grinds sometimes and pops out of gear when ur on the highway they may just go ahead and swap it out with a 009

I got the 3rd grind problem too back in December. I got a brand new transmission and pressure plate for my clutch. My car at that time only had 19K miles and its a '03. I was very pleased with the customer service at Hall Nissan (local dealership). Provided a rental and everything too.

yeh me 2 it went pretty smooth i got a 2007 murano with onyl 500 miles for a rental. i was pleased which tranny did u get prolly 007 or 008. You should try to get the 009 if possible. But how has the trannie been since the replacement
