I had an '05 Daytona Blue Z and I traded it in for an '07 Z for the engine and could have taken any color. San Marino Blue caught my eye for a while...but I couldn't leave DB man....LOVE this color. It takes me like a month to actually find the car I want in DB though but no matter how long it takes(3 months for the 05, 1 month for the 07) when I am done washing the car, or walking into work, or walking into a store, or just near a window, I CAN'T help but turn around a look at that sexy beast as I walk away. I bought the color twice and would buy it again and again.

Is something wrong with your rear hatch? Looks a bit off.

No, it just might be the light, angle, pollen, who knows lol. I don't have the '05 anymore. But I'll get that look+ with the '07. I am about to get with my friends for a good ole fashioned detail day with Zaino lol

Default Black or Blue ?

Dude,
I have a Black '04 350 with Nismo wing, Cat-back and Air-intake. This was and is going to be my first and last black car ever ! If your as clean as me and love a nice shinny vehicle, at all times then.....DO NOT BUY A BLACK Z!
This car I love and it takes a huge amount of time and effort to keep clean. Nothing looks better than a nice clean, shinny, black Z. Black sports cars look classy and great when clean,...when dirty and not kept up, they look like crap ! If you do get black...I only hope you keep it clean as much as you can.

Good luck !

Daytona Blue isn't that much easier to keep clean than black.

'Course, I suffer from OCD and can't stand to see my DB dirty.

Silverstone, never clean it.

Nah, get the black man.

Black is for real ballers.

Daytona Blue

I love the look of a black car but I will never own another one. Hard to keep clean past a day after washing and they are hot as hell in the summer.

DB was my first color choice but I ended up with PPW and love it.

There are no bad colors for the Z. My favorite is the DB, but that color is really not my style for a daily driver , so I went with Silverstone and I'm still glad I did. I wish my neighbor had a DB so I could look at one every day. If I get a second Z (and I definitely will), I will go out of my way to make sure I get a Daytona Blue. That is part of the point.

That color makes the car look more like a toy. It makes it look smaller, sportier, and possibly more exotic. And fun. I have already planned exactly which mods and which MrZipps headlights I'm going to put on mine, too.

All the colors are beautiful on the Z, but each one imparts its own personality to the car. The lines and curves of the car do the rest. There is so much history behind a Z-car, when I look at one, the metal and paint are only part of what I see.

But that awesome, highly flaked metallic DB paint sure does help.
