ftw, i got my daytona blue z back but as an 04, i'm a neat freak, i wash my car once a week, even in the winter, i don't think i could've owned a black z, i'd be washing it everyday...

 

I literally wash my car almost daily lol. I hit in the car and I see that orange hue over the hood from pollen....I get right back out and wash it lol. If there is any change of rain or anything I wash it and put a cover on it. The blue gets dirty really easy as well and water hides everywhere. A couple places that particularly tick me off is the rear view and in the bottom door seal where water will run out down the side skit picking up any road dust.

 

So your really gonna let strangers choose the color of car for you! Should they pick out your clothes too?

Well black is amazing when clean..IMO the BEST!! But it sure does give you allot of headaches... If your like me, and are all about your car...then I say get black! Because its an attention *****.

 

Dude daytona blue!!! It is such a niiiiiiiceeee color! U did say ur an attention ***** and u know (since u had it) that daytona blue gets A LOT, i mean A LOT of attention!!! It just sticks out from everybody else....my cars exterior is lightly modified and i still get people saying they love my car more then my friends 350z's that every highly modified exteriors just b/c of my color! Yea...i'd say go daytona blue again!

Good choice on the blue, I've had my 03 black Z for about 8months now, and after washing it 3-5 times a week, im starting to get over it. Of course it looks unreal when its washed and all shiny, but as soon as you actually drive the car somewhere, it looks just as dirty as before.

Anyways, congrats on the new ride

 

three years later, i got super black to replace my daytona blue. had 3 z's in total.
