Ok im trying to get prepared for zday. For the drive im upgrading my samsung blackjack to work with the telenav gps. which is great. I will also have my laptop, and my cell phone which has full internet access. I pla to change my brake pads and rotors to something better, as well as new fluid and new stainless steel lines. Im going with r1 concept slotted rotors, hawk hp+ brake pads motul brake fluid and some stainless steel lines. I also plan to have the coolant flushed. Is that necessary? I will also be going with tein s techs and possibly some new dampeners, and sways if i can find some used. I will als be doing an oil change right before I leave, 1600 mile round trip. For music I will have my laptop, zune and some cds. As well as movies on thezune and laptop. The usual clothing, and suc will go in a bag in the back. I also plan to sound deaden the entire back of my car. I dont have the time to d the front. I will als be hardwiring an x50 with the possibility of using a 9500i. Im hoping for 9500 but thats ify. For the paint I will be doing a full detail, strip off everything thats on there now, clay paint cean polish scratch x and wax. meguiars deep crystal for everything but the wax which will be nxt eagle one nano or black magic. Then i hope to use a paint sealent to cover it al up. Maybe that diamond stuff. Seems to work great. I will be bringing quick detailer bug and tar remover and lots of microfiber clothers with me. What else should I do? I have new tires and wheels so were good there. I do need new clutch, but no money for that now. Thanks. Tips are appreciated.

 

When is Z day? I have never driven the dragon and only live about an hour and a half away...

Bring beer, although I don't think it's a dry county anymore, it was difficult to find some good priced alcohol at the last ZDays.

 

I've been trying to work overtime to get my car ready for the trip. I've also been considering just taking my car up there and driving it off a cliff to collect insurance too.

 

Um not a good idea, I would have to bring beer if I wanted to drink, Im 18 :-(
