I don't think its a matter of GETTING girls because of the car (though I'm sure those people are out there)....the real question is do you want high school boys with irritating cars oogling you or do you want women oogling you?

To be honest, I've gotten more attention from BOTH when I got my Evo. Thing is, it's the kind of girls you WANT to meet that come up to you when you have an Evo (the kind that's not in it for the money and the type that's into cars). So tell me, what would you rather have?

^ Insanely faster. You shouldn't even mention Evo or Z in the same paragraph that even contains the letters R, S or X.

You know thats the truth though. They might be about the same price give or take but the Z looks a lot more expensive.

Yup, I think the search button is broken...

Anyway...having had the Evo and having lived with an STi owner I have a little bit of experience with all 3. Like others have said many, many, many times before...its all personal preference. To me, the STi felt numb compared to the Evo. It is a good car...just didn't have that edge.

My Evo definitely "seemed" faster because of how the power is delivered and the steering was a lot sharper...but I have to admit...driving around in the Z is a lot more satisfying. I'm not sure really how to quantify it other than just the feeling the Z gives me when I drive it.

Bottom line...have them drive all 3 and make their own decision. Don't rely on the opinions of others because we're not paying for the car.

and the evos and sti's do around the same time with a turbo

Ummm, yeah... '07 actually has got a best of 13.3 so far... stock Evo IX's are running high 12's and trapping 106.

Sure, they do it NA, but they have an extra 2 cylinders and 1.5/1 liter of displacement on top of the Evo and STI (respectively). So next time, try doing a bit more research before posting.

Mahalos.

Uhm...no, read the post again. I didn't say use the car to GET the girl. Attracting beautiful women is the natural characteristic of the Z, regardless of whether you want it or not! By the way, no I didn't use the car to get the girl. I met my fiance in Houston when I didn't even OWN a car, then I got an integra, then after we were engaged I got the Z. And yes she's pretty, so don't be assuming **** and learn to comprehend! Don't just READ, you have to understand it.

Not to diss on the EVO I think they are great cars, and yes, even think they LOOK sick. But one time 5 of us were in my cousins EVO and we were going up this huge ramp in a parking garage with cars close behind. He killed his clutch because he had such a hard time goin up the ramp due to the lack of turque. Or he jsut couldnt drive, just thought it was really funny.

The Z looks good. The Evo looks good and are fun to look at. To me though, being 31, I just cant imagine myself being seen in one.

I got the Z even though I read that it can be a pig and it doesnt win too many comparos. I got it cause it was is good looking and cheap HP. But truely to my surprise, I love it more and more everyday.

If he want a car for the looks then go for 350z, if he wants speed then go sti, and if he wants it for a lil bit of looks and speed then go evo unless he is planing on doing some upgrades then i would go with 350z ofcourse.

Lack of torque? LOL... he can't drive. I'm in parking garages daily and have never had a problem. Some of the garages in Waikiki are STEEP and driving 4 other people through them has never giving me a prob.

You do realize that the Evo will smoke the STI/STi bolt-on for bolt-on, right? It's also quicker and faster out the box.

If you're planning on upgrades short of FI then a Z is a waste of money (in the sense you're thinking). For under $1500 an Evo IX can run 11's. If money isn't an issue, then the Z is an easy choice (unless you need four doors). I'd sure as hell have a Z if money wasn't an issue.

These fucking threads have been beaten to death... all it takes is a test drive of each to make a choice.

And I'd realy like to see that Forester take an '07 in the 1/4 or on a track... that damn thing doesn't stand a chance. All it has is a slightly quicker 0-60.
