If you're planning on upgrades short of FI then a Z is a waste of money (in the sense you're thinking). For under $1500 an Evo IX can run 11's. If money isn't an issue, then the Z is an easy choice (unless you need four doors). I'd sure as hell have a Z if money wasn't an issue.
These fucking threads have been beaten to death... all it takes is a test drive of each to make a choice.
And I'd realy like to see that Forester take an '07 in the 1/4 or on a track... that damn thing doesn't stand a chance. All it has is a slightly quicker 0-60.

Sure, they do it NA, but they have an extra 2 cylinders and 1.5/1 liter of displacement on top of the Evo and STI (respectively). So next time, try doing a bit more research before posting.
Mahalos.

The Z is a totally different car from those others. Again, it depends on whether you want power and practicality, or complete sports car with little practicality. I chose the Z because I don't haul people, or stuff. And when bad weather hits, I can take my girlfriends Chevy Blazer. Without her car, I would have never made it through the winter...we got hit with a freak snow storm that dropped a foot of snow in one day

OP-go test drive all 3 and see which one you like best. You are asking a 350z forum and the majority of them will say get teh Z. But if u are looking for something to haul others around or a bit more practical... then the Z isnt for u. If u are going to upgrade and if money was no object then get the Z. If u want pure cheap speed and power then get the Evo. I myself am not a fan of the Sti. Looks wise both the Z and the Evo look great in their own way but I think ther Sti is just plain fugly.
PS if u want something that will blow the doors off any z,evo, sti, or prancing horse then get teh RSX. Vtec FTW!

how do you figure the z has more potential? with as much money as it costs to get a Z tt'ed and in the high 11's range.....you can be deep in the 10's for just as much....and we arent even faster stock....ive seen a stock evo 9 run a 12.9@105 with a 1.68 60'.....which brings me to another point why do u consider rwd better than awd? i dont think we can pull 1.68 60' on our cars...not really even with slicks....but yea we do look better....please dont bulls*** and hype up our cars for no reason man

Holy fuck not you... what an annoying waste of skin. Why troll threads that I'm a part of? Always you (opinions) vs me (facts). Run along and die now.

When the lease on my sentra specV was up, I thought about the Evo and the STI. But one thing that always bothered me about the sentra was that it felt like a non-sports car that had been "sported up" by upgrading the engine, transmission, and the suspension. For my next car I wanted something that felt like it had been designed as a sports car from the ground up. The evo and sti just seemed like they were designed along the same philosophy as the sentra. I was also attracted by 2 seats, after getting tired of driving people all over the place.
