How about buying some mesh to fit under or beside the garage door when it's ajar, no way a kitty can get in then.

leave a small dish of coolant on the floor outside......although the coolant would kill the cat, you didn't directly kill it. if the cat is dumb enough to drink it (and it will), then in a way, the cat commited suicide.

if you hurt the cat now.. you will become the prime suspect. Cat lovers are crazy.. they will do anything for revenge.

Wait a few months..

Keep garage door closed.

If a pet gets killed, payback's a b*tch.

I would not hurt the cat...ever.

I just wish the lady would keep her cat in the house since it is such a roamer. There is another cat a few houses down and that cat never leaves their yard.

Spose the side door on the garage could have a metal locking screen door installed so I can let the garage cool off and keep the cat out.
Oh goody more money to spend because of that cat!

Gothchick! Your broom stick joke cracked me up!!!

I don't see the problem. once again, the Z gets pu$$y attracted to it. If you can't handle it, don't drive a Z.

On a serious note, just **** on the hood of your car. The cats won't come around because the smell.

Seriously though, they sell cat repellant in pet stores. Works pretty well.

If so, I've got pics of a friend's new Mustang (and "really cool" pit bull) to show you. And when the pit hikes his leg on your wheels, he is not stretching for his tae kwon do lessons.

Smartest thing I've read here. It's a small price to sleep well at night. If you really, really have to vent your garage door, then installing proper vents will do wonders. Since heat rises, leaving a gap at the bottom does not come close to the benefits you'd see with a vent in the proper place.

Besides, if the cat dissappears other problems may arrise.

Right now, I have a friend battling mice or rats (we are not sure which) in his garage. The damage done by the cat can be buffed out. At least cats don't chew through your wires and leave droppings on your engine.

Funny thing, though: my cat hangs out in my garage all the time and loves to sit on my Z (it really does attract *****!). I don't have a single scratch on the Z (or any other car). In fact, it is hard to imagine that their toenail could be so much harder than the clearcoat.

On Mohs Scale of Hardness, a fingernail is barely a 2 (Gypsum).
