when I was stock, the older Z's would smoke me off a line.
if you have a revup engine, get the mrev kit and spacer, and you'll be on top of your game again.
as far as a G37 smokin' me.......please. those things are huge and heavy.
they make look nice, but nothing looks as good as it should when it's in my rear view mirror

 

you guys do realize that clutch plays a HUGE part in chirping tires

 

ok well i just got my z a few weeks ago...all this talk of everyone beating the **** out of their z's...is it fair for me to assume that the vq35 can endure ungodly amounts of abuse before something horrible happens? can the same be said about the transmissions as well? just wanna know how i should be driving my new car...

 

Theres a few at beaverun that ride rev limiter month in and month out....

I'd say yeah they can take abuse at stock power levels...

My transmission makes a lot of noise But i'm told thats normal. Just don't miss gears or launch your car with drag slicks (and 500whp) and you should be ok on the transmission part

 

sweet deal...any pa meets this time of year? like i said, im a nissan noob so just hit me up..i have a lot of s13 friends that all have rb swaps that are BEGGING me to let them boost my car that i could bring up as well...

 

I just jumped ship to nissan last week I dont know what kind of meets Pittsburgh has

 

I havent a hard time chirping 2 or 3rd in my 04 z

 

Mine takes lots of hard driving on the track. (I wouldn't call it abuse)

But I did break it in, by the book.
