Afternoon all
I'm thinking about buying a 350z GT but wondering if it's a good idea to buy an import, can someone give me some advice to what the main differences are.
Thanks

Depending on the year/model performance mods could cost you more since imports tend to use "new" technology and domestic re-use their technology over and over again. Other than that buying an import is no different than buying from a domestic automaker all the way from the sales to the warranty.

I have been looking for a while and have found that the imported ones are much cheaper. I'm going to see one tonight a brief description is:
41000 Miles, Black, fsh, full GT spec, leather interior, Nismo spoiler and side skirts, climate control, e/seats, Bremo brakes, boys 6 stacker cd, abs, inc private plate.
I have heard the suspension of the car is a little different.

Yeah RHD is a bit of a big deal here. I think the ones that come from Japan to the UK are all converted to UK standards ie RHD and also speedo is mph!!!
Guys are the Japanses cars more prone to rust because they do not
have as much bad weather there so salt is not used on the roads. The UK has cr*p weather Summer only lasts for a couple of months and it's rain for the rest of the year.

The only thing I can think is that the "non-japanese" Z's your looking at are grey market cars brought in from another country. But the UK and Japan are pretty unique in the RHD department, so any grey market cars would be LHD.
I thought they used KPH in the UK...
