Default what would you do?

I currently own a 04 Silverstone Z touring. I have the opportunity to get into an 07 Superblack Enthusiast by giving the dealership my car and another $3000 to have the same payments i have now. The diffrences are suddle but I like the leather in my car The passenger cup holder, and some other small things. The only thing that really sells me on the 07 is that it has 9 miles on it and the engine looks so sick. I think with duakl popchargers that car will sound so mean. The headlight/tailights arent too special to me on the new ones and the hood is funky. So basically my question is with $3000 can i make my car sound/perform better than the 07?

I would name this thread something that gives me an idea what question you're trying to ask.

i think this depends on how many more payments you have on your 04. if its close to being paid off wait, if not it would be something to consider.

You'll it regret once 08/09 rolls around and the Z34 is introduced. Besides, the 07 is not all that different from previous years and why would you want to take on more debt if you're closer to paying off your 04?

I went for the 07 from my 03 i cant be any happier with the HR pulls alot harder.Plus if they redesign the Z who knows if it will look as good as the previous model. But hey do some thinking if you decide to go for it believe me you wont be mad you did.

Drive what you have till it's paid off, then get a new car.

07s are magnetic black. Personally, i would wait till your car is paid off. There is a pretty big difference between the 03 and the 07 but its not like its a totally different car. Would you wait for the GTR?

if they redesign the z, it will probably still have the hr motor in it, although i feel it will be upwards towards 350+ bhp.

Well I test drove it today and to be quite honest... (flame on). The 07 Z feels more like a luxury sport car compared to my 04. The clutch is buttery soft like almost no effort at all to push it down, The suspension felt softer, and while at wide open throttle it sounds like a beast Mine sounds good all the way through. I didnt like it cause it felt like a buttered down Z not so much like a sports car. I dunno maybe cause it had like 5 miles on the clock and things havent broken in ? but in my car there is resistance from the clutch and i feel the road as is i were on coilovers (when compared to 07). My 04 feels like just a few mods i can be just as quick as the 07. I decided against it due to having 1 more semester in college left and i want to finish paying off my car. Oh well i will hopefully get a good job out of college and get the car i really want. Skyline GTR or Porsche Cayman S. Thanks for the mature advice guys i really took it into consideration

I would wait untill your current car is paid off before you shop for another Z. The 08 or 09 may be even better compared to the current 07. Although I don’t believe those rumors about upcoming Z redesigns etc. I can remember back in 2004 when I’ve been shopping for the Z - several people expected a 350Z with twin turbo by 2005 even car magazines confirmed this persistent rumor about an upcoming 2005 350Z TT. To cut a long story short – we all know it didn’t happen.
