Thumbs up 07 STI to 07 Z

I work part time now at gettel nissan and this young guy comes in with an 07 STI with 3k miles on it. he paid like 38k for it. well anyways to make a long story short he liked the speed of the STI but didn't like the looks so he traded it in for Z in which he said he always liked. so he traded it in for a san marino blue enthusiast 6-speed. I told him about these forums so hopefully he signs up and we can all welcome him since he does want to do some mods. It just shows how popular the looks of the Z's are. oh by the way I sold an x-terra and a Z roadster on my first day on the sales floor! Just so more pertinent info. We had a general meeting and they are redesigning the murano for next year and the Z for 2009.

but he traded in a 38k new car with only 3k miles on it so that should knock off most of the expense

ok so he paid 38K for a subaru imprezza in cash and then traded it in for a Z? And how much did he lose on the trade in? This just does not make any financial sense what so ever.

There's also a bridge I'd like to sell him. It's nice, goes right through Brooklyn.

well he knows he definately paid too much for his sti, that was the main problem...it was shipped and everything from another state or something like that..we gave him a good deal on z though..at least he's in what he wants now with very small payment.

New 07's are probably almost as fast, if not faster, than the STI's stock for stock. Z's are much better looking though IMO.

Or faster. The only thing the STi has for it is the awd launch.
