If that space was made as deep as a aftermarket stero that would be ideal because then you can cover up you expensive stereo. I realize there is probably air vent tubes and such behind it.

I think a good use of the Nav compartment would be either for an LCD screen or a satellite radio receiver. The compartment is pretty much useless for storage except for a cell phone (you can see a pic in my other thread, "Some new pics.."). The LCD screen would fill it up nicely, and you could put a DVD player in one of the 'mail slot' compartments or the glove box. The satellite radio receiver would be nice, but it wouldn't fill the area out at well, and you would also have to add another dreaded antenna to your Z.

dvlad,

Yes, the G-Force fish are getting restless in their tank at home. Their internal sensors (which are analagous to our inner ears) will atrophy over time if not exposed to high lateral acceleration. ZISME, we must not let this happen! There are only about 300 G-Force fish in captivity, and we all know how hard it is to get them to mate.

I am currently finalizing the specs on their new home. I will be adding an enormous hood scoop for aeration of their tank. I am testing diiferent types of gravel for the base of the tank...most of what I've seen so far is much too light, and creates drifts when cornering. The fish are not pleased with this. They have voiced their displeasure by trailing enormous poop strings behind them.

I have picked out their castle, and am close to choosing the little scuba man who will reside with them. I just have to find a tiny Nomex racing suit for him to wear.

I'm thinking about taping a note to it that says:

"I saved two grand, and all I got was this crappy compartment."

I have seen adaptors and software that allows you to display ODB II info on a palm device. It might be kind of cool to hard wire a little dock for a color palm (or equvilant) into that space.

I also know there are "trunk" mounted mp3 players that have remote pads that would look pretty slick in there.

Mine will house the Apexi S-AFC and possibly the AVC-R if I end up going TC for forced induction....

those units are too expensive to have out in the open and I think they would look nice in there...

If not....I'll do that standrad monitor with DVD player in the NAV cubby....

Why not just build your own applications....

....the possiblities are endless

It'll give 'war driving' a new meaning.

So bring it on. What does everyone think about that?
You aren't that guy we had a couple of months ago who didn't buy his Z because his lady didn't think it was right for them. She came home with an Audi soon thereafter.

Remember that guys (and gals)???? Boy has time flown by!
